'All American Christmas' in Aurelia Saturday

Friday, December 11, 2009
The town of Aurelia will be holding their annual "All American Christmas" on Saturday. The fun starts at 9 a.m. with a cookie sale at the Public Library and children's shopping at Village Boutique. The Heritage House & Center will have an open house, beginning at 9:30 a.m. , and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. there will be an "appreciation" dinner at the Community Center.

Santa is scheduled to arrive at the Community Center at 1 p.m., but I think there'll probably be a little food left over for the Big Guy.

At 1:30 p.m. there will be community Christmas caroling at Sunset Knoll; and at 2 p.m., the Friends of Aurelia will have fun activities for the kids at the Community Center.

All of the scheduled activities (except for the caroling) take place on Main Street Aurelia, so come on over and celebrate a good old-fashioned All American Christmas.
