Cherokee County Farm Bureau recognized

Cherokee County Farm Bureau recently received gold star recognition for its 2009 programs related to policy development; policy implementation; ag education; influencing the general public; increasing farm profitability; promoting livestock, value-added agriculture and rural vitality; engaging volunteer leaders and promoting the benefits of membership.

By earning recognition in each of the eight categories, Cherokee County Farm Bureau ranked as one of the top 37 county performers.
