SIOUX RAPIDS - Ridge View got off to a slow start in boys basketball action here on Friday night, trailing Sioux Central by 12 points at the half. Though the team worked hard in the 3rd quarter, they were not able to overcome the early deficit and the Raptors ended up losing the non-conference battle by a 57-38 score.
Seth Johnson led the Raptors in scoring with 12 points and Christian Bondinello added eight, while Isaiah Miller scored five and grabbed 12 rebounds. Adam Ehlers paced Sioux Central with 18 points and Matt Dahlin scored eight.
Ridge View coach Shannon Tesch said his team (now 2-2) "got outworked in the first half. We had a great third quarter, but unfortunately dug ourselves too big of a hole in the first half. Hopefully, we can build on that 3rd quarter."
