In this photo, Pride Group staff members Diana Ockerman (left) and Patsy Day (right) serve up delicious food for the consumers at their recent Christmas party. Photo by Dan Whitney.
Pride Group was the fortunate recipient of grant money from both the Cherokee Legacy Foundation and Thrivent this year, and between the two agencies' donations, they were able to build and furnish a new kitchen and dining area for their consumers. Some members of Thrivent even helped do the work to install the new kitchen cabinets.

What a feast! Pride Group consumers Dick Baker (seated in foreground) and Tony Kopp (wearing cap) were among those who enjoyed the great food at the recent Christmas party. At the party, an announcement was made that an anonymous donor had given $1500 to Pride Group, with instructions to spread the money among the consumers. The grateful consumers will receive $50 apiece from the generous donation.
