The Bulldogs, who start two freshmen, were down 32-12 at the half, but played a great third quarter and cut it to a 10-point deficit going into the 4th quarter.
In that final quarter, though, said Bulldog Coach Grant Peckenschneider, "We lost some guys and they hit some threes to pull away."
The two also hit double figures in rebounding, grabbing 14 boards apiece to lead the team in that category as well. Jacob Howey scored eight points and had five boards.
Coach Peck was very pleased that his team didn't quit, adding that "they give all they've got, night in and night out. We are improving, and I'm just real happy with the effort."
The Bulldogs play at Spalding Catholic tonight, host Storm Lake St. Mary's on Friday, and finish up their pre-Christmas slate with a road game at Charter Oak-Ute on Tuesday.
