Aurelia Commercial Club Kick-Off February 1

AURELIA - The Aurelia Commercial Club will be holding its annual Kick-Off Dinner on Monday, February 1 at the Aurelia Community Center. Social hour is at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner, catered by Les and Carolyn DeRoos of Alta.

The event is open to the public at a cost of $10 per person for the meal. Reservations should be made to Cindy Krause at 434-5895.

The speakers for the night will be Jeff Bowen and Dar Evans, who will present a program on their mission project to bring water to the African country of Tanzania.

Bowen, the owner of Geo-Loop, Inc. and former Aurelia mayor and current city council member, has been selected as the 2010 Aurelia Citizen of the Year, and will receive his award at the Kick-Off Dinner.
