SIOUX CITY - The Foundation of Western Iowa Tech Community College (WITCC) has announced its officers and board members for 2010.
Skip Perley has been elected president of the Foundation. Perley is president/CEO of TEC-Corp., which owns Thompson Electric Company and Electric Innovations in Sioux City, Omaha, and Sioux Falls. Jim Rocklin, president of Rocklin Manufacturing Co., was elected vice president, and Troy Jasman, vice president of finance and administrative services of Western Iowa Tech Community College, was re-elected treasurer.
Jon Winkel, CEO and vice chair of Long Lines LLC, was recognized for his five years of service as president of the Foundation board.
New members are Lillyan Rodriguez, sales associate with United Real Estate Solutions, and Mary Ellen Hartman, commercial property manager with Klinger Properties Inc.
Members retiring from the Foundation board are E.B. Baker, C.W. Suter Services; Richard Grenko, Nichols, Rise & Co.; E. Joe Lundsgaard, community volunteer, Cherokee; and Charlie Zook, Charlie Zook Motors.
Other board members include Rick Aadland, CEO, Pioneer Bank; John B. Anderson, partner, Corbett Anderson Corbett Vellinga & Irvin LLP; Daryl Austin, president, Phillips Kiln Services; Larry Book, manager, L&L Book Properties; Cy Chesterman, CEO and chairman, Chesterman Company; Deborah Cook, corporate counsel and secretary, Great West Casualty Company; Dr. Robert E. Dunker, president, WITCC; Dr. Robert Kiser, WITCC president emeritus/honorary board member; Justin Meyer, LEED AP, FEH Associates; Ginny Peterson, community volunteer, Dakota Dunes; LeRoy Schoon, president, Schoon Construction Inc., Cherokee; and Rich Waller, CEO, Security National Bank.
