The annual "City Lights ... Women's Night" will be held on Saturday, February 27, at the Western Iowa Tech Community College Conference Center, 200 Victory Drive, Cherokee.
The cost is $25 per person, and reservations, with assigned seating, should be made with Julie Schulenberg at 712-225-5003.
"City Lights ... Women's Night" is a time to allow women to relax, laugh, and learn while networking with friends and colleagues, and is sponsored by the Friends of CAASA, along with Hy-Vee, Haselhoff Construction, Central Bank, and Kennedy Chiropractic.
This year's program will be emceed by KPTH TV personality, and Cherokee native, Jackie Schmillen, and the featured speaker will by Amy Dee-Kristensen, who has been described as "a dynamic speaker with an extraordinary life story and a marvelously candid ability to touch people's hearts and souls." At 7 p.m., guests will partake of an elegant pasta dinner, including various toppings and sauces, a scrumptious salad and a "decadent" dessert. Speaker Amy Dee-Kristensen takes the stage at 8 p.m., presenting a fun, enlightening, inspirational keynote address, full of humor, music and celebration. Amy inspires women to "live everyday bliss."
The program is in honor of, and to celebrate, women. In her words, "This one's for the girls."
Following Dee-Kristensen's presentation, there will be door prizes, raffles, and a closing, starting at 9 p.m.
