Egger playing tennis at Concordia

Friday, February 26, 2010

Cole Egger of Galva, a 2009 Galva-Holstein graduate, is now a student at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska and playing tennis for the Bulldogs. The team opened their 2010 season with an 8-1 win (8-1) over Doane University in the brand new Bulldog Fieldhouse in Seward on Februray 20.

Egger and his doubles partner, Kyle Kaldahl (who was Cole's high school rival when he played for Spencer High School), won their match 8-4, and Cole beat his singles opponent 6-0, 6-2.

Because Galva-Holstein does not offer tennis, Egger played tennis for Cherokee Washington High School for three years as part of a sharing program.
