In response to the damage suffered by many trees and shrubs from this winter's snow and ice storms, Cherokee County Extension is sponsoring a Landscape Tree Pruning Workshop on March 25, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The workshop will focus on proper pruning techniques of storm-damaged trees and shrubs as well as regular pruning to sustain and improve the health and appearance of a tree/shrub. There will be an opportunity to ask questions. The workshop is being held in the office at 209 Centennial, Suite A, Cherokee. Participants are asked to pre-register before March 24 by calling (712) 225-6196. There is no charge to attend.
