Monday, March 15, 2010

The 18th Annual Beta Sigma Phi Spring Craft Show will be held on March 27 at the Western Iowa Tech Community College Conference Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A tasty gourmet lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the coffee pot will be on all day. You can also sign up for door prizes to be given away throughout the day.

For the past 18 years, the Laureate Gamma Eta of Beta Sigma Phi have hosted a Spring Craft Show at Western Iowa Tech Community College in Cherokee. This years crafters come from central Iowa, Minnesota, Northwest Iowa plus many favorite local crafters will be among the 40 show-stopping vendors.

You're invited to come and browse over 50 tables of products. Whether you are in need of garden sculptures, garden pottery, quilts, handmade jewelry or dog treats, you will be able to find it there.

Proceeds from this year's Spring Craft Show will go to a graduating Washington High School senior who is pursuing a technical degree. Past years have seen monies given to CAASA, Cherry House, area scholarships, Cherokee Library, Hospice and the Bacon Aquatic Center.

The group often helps in a more personal way by taking on a family and helping meet their needs.

This is a very special event being held right in your backyard. This is where you'll find the good stuff of life. You get to do a little shopping, meet your chrished friends for lunch and have a great day at the Spring Craft Show.
