Cherokee Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Kent Lundquist as Marketing/ Public Relations Manager.
Lundquist, a native of Cherokee and a 1990 graduate of Washington High School, received his bachelor's degree from Morningside College in 1994 with a double-major in Business Administration/ Marketing and Mass Communications. He brings with him over 15 years of marketing, sales, and public relations experience. Lundquist is coming to CRMC from American Pop Corn Company in Sioux City, Iowa where he has served as the Director of Consumer Marketing for the Jolly Time Pop CornĘ brand for the past eight years.
"I am extremely excited about continuing my professional career with Cherokee Regional Medical Center," said Lundquist. "Cherokee has always been 'home' to me in my heart and I am proud to be a part of an organization that provides so much to the residents of this county and the surrounding areas."

Lundquist and his wife Nicci have three sons, Levi- 14, Steven- 11, and Trevor- 8. They plan to relocate the family back to Cherokee following the end of the current school year. "We definitely look forward to reconnecting with old friends, neighbors and colleagues, as well as developing new personal and professional relationships," said Lundquist. "It will be a great feeling to be settled back into the community and have the boys enrolled in the Cherokee school system."
Lundquist will begin his professional duties full-time at CRMC on April 19.
