Renowned concert pianist to perform at Oakdale Church

When Sam Rotman made his debut at the age of 16 with the San Antonio Symphony Orchestra, before an audience of 6,000 people, the Baldwin Keynote Magazine wrote, "Sam Rotman is a pianist with abundant potential."

Rotmanwent on to earn his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Juilliard School in New York City, where he was the recipient of multiple awards, scholarships, and prizes. Subsequently, he has been among the winners of five piano competitions, in both the United States and Europe. The most prestigious award was that of Laureate Winner in the 4th International Beethoven Competition in Vienna, Austria. Mr. Rotman also participated in the 6th International Tchaikovsky Piano Competition in Moscow, Russia, and his devotion to the study and performance of the works of Beethoven led to his being featured in a special Beethoven concert presented on Public Television.

Sam Rotman has given over 2,100 performances in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, South and Central America, Africa, Europe and Asia, performing in a total of 58 countries.

On Tuesday, April 13, Rotman will be sharing his incredible talent ans well as his Christian testimony during a special concert at Oakdale Evangelical Free Church in rural Meriden. The concert begins at 7 p.m., and is free of charge (a free-will offering will be taken.)

All who attend are invited to a cheesecake and coffee reception following the concert.

Oakdale Evangelical Free Church is located 7 miles south and two miles east of Paullina, and is exactly five miles north of Meriden, at the intersection of L-51 and C-16.
