The Cherokee Music Boosters will be hosting the 14th annual "Tastes and Sounds" tomorrow (Thursday) from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at the WIT Convention Center. This is a fundraiser for the Cherokee Washington High School and Middle School band and vocal programs, and will feature ongoing music provided by the band and vocal students, as well as food and beverages provided by 16 Cherokee businesses.
While the public samples the food and beverages from the various tables set up around the room, music will be performed by the band and vocal students.
Tickets are $7 for adults, $3 for students age 4 -10, and free for kids age 3 and under. Advance tickets are available from band and vocal students, or you may call 225-2779. Tickets will also be available at the door on the evening of the event.
Be sure to support this fundraiser for the Cherokee music program on April 8, and also enjoy an evening of good music and food.
