Goodwill's Ambassador Trailer will receive donations in Cherokee beginning May 19 until May 26 in the southwest corner of Bomgaars parking lot on North Second Street (U.S. Highway 59).
The next Ambassador Trailer will arrive in Aurelia on May 26.
The donations enable Goodwill to provide services to more than 200 program participants in a variety of locations. The donations also serve to provide jobs to 400 Goodwill employees in four states.
Goodwill accepts donations of sellable clothing, usuable working small appliances, and household goods, sporting goods, and toys. Place donations as far to the front of the trailer as possible. Furniture and large appliances will not be accepted.
Goodwill is a non-profit organization and through its many programs provides services for people with disabilities and disadvantaging conditions and employment barriers.
