Pitts and the top four places (including ties) advance to the medalist round of the District Meet at Fort Dodge Friday. That includes Desai, Spindler, O'Connor, Adam Pitts, and Todd. The Braves' team qualifies for Districts as Sectional Champs.

"It was a beautiful day to play golf," said Cherokee coach James DeVos. "The Cherokee course was in excellent chape and played tough as it usually does. I was pround of the boys for taking their home course advantage and capitalizing. Any time you have three of the four top golfers, it's going to be a good day.

"This marks the fourth straight appearance at the District Meet for these seniors. It has been a great run for them and they are hoping to attack the Fort Dodge course on Friday and make some good things happen."
