Students in Cherokee will once again be able to receive a hot school lunch during the summer. Free meals will be served Monday through Friday at Roosevelt from June 7 til July 23 with the exception of July 1, 2 & 5.
Students age 18 and younger qualify for this free program. Parents are allowed to eat with their children for $2.25 per meal. Meals will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Roosevelt building located at 929 North Roosevelt.
Costs for the summer lunch program are reimbursed by the state. If you have any questions about the Summer Lunch Program, contact Quinn Woods, Food Service Director at 712-225-6765.
