Effective May 24 the Cherokee Regional Medical Center Wellness Center switched over to their summer hours adjusting for summer activities and schedules. The Wellness Center is currently open during the following times:
Monday through Friday -- 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. "Under 18 Swim" -- 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Saturday -- 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. "Under 18 Swim" -- noon to 2:30 p.m.
Sunday -- 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. "Under 18 Swim" -- 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Also, there are various fitness classes with new sessions starting in June. Beginning June 1, S.P.A.R.C. (Super Power Aerobic Resistance Class) times will be Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 5:45 a.m. to 6:15 a.m. Eighth grade Strength Training Orientation will be held on Wednesday, June 2 at noon. Anyone entering the Eighth grade this fall must complete an orientation before they will be allowed to use the 2nd floor exercise area in the Wellness Center. On Monday, June 7, the Aqua Lite class will be resuming with sessions being held on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 9 a.m. Yoga will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m. with classes resuming on Tuesday, June 8. Classes are free to anyone with a Wellness Center membership.
