The Living with Loss Grief Support Group will be holding the 1st Annual Grief Support Reunion on June, 15 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Spring Lake Park Shelter House. There will be a pot luck style meal served with meat, beverages, plates and utensils provided. Everyone is encouraged to bring a salad, side dish or dessert to share.
Having helped hundreds of people cope with the loss of a loved one since being started in the 1990's, the Living With Loss group continues to be offered to the public several times through the year. This reunion is a great way to reconnect with one another and is open to anyone who has participated in the Living with Loss series in the past.
Living with Loss is a five-week series that includes grief education and peer support. The program is offered as a community service of Cherokee Regional Medical Center Hospice at no cost to the participants. The group is open to anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. If you have any questions regarding the reunion or grief support in general, you may contact Gretchen or Lori at 225-6459.
