KINGSLEY - The Ridge View Raptor softball team continues to show improvement as the season progresses , defeating Kingsley-Pierson 13-1 in three innings. on Tuesday. Ridge View improved to 2-3 in the Western Valley Conference and 5-5 overall.

Picking up the win on the mound was Jaime Christensen, who gave three hits with no walks and had two strikeouts in three innings of work. Leading the way at the way for the Raptors were Ashley Buell, who went 1-4 with two RBI, Kaitlin Wulf, who went 2-3 with two RBI and Dana Hustedt, who clubbed a double.

Ridge View coach Scott Phelps said that the Ridge View coaches are happy with the way their defense has been playing and how the kids are making good contact at the plate.

"The kids are really working hard to improve in all phases of the game." said Phelps.
