The 4-H Facilities Betterment Project Committee has collected the best recipes from 108 4-H members, family, leaders, and alumni and compiled them into an attractive keepsake cookbook. The cookbooks are on sale now, with all proceeds going to the betterment project at the Cherokee County Fairgrounds.
The spiral bound cookbook contains 384 well-loved recipes. Each divider features a different Cherokee County 4-H Club. Recipes include the donor's name, plus a contributor's index is located in the back of the cookbook to help you find the recipes of family and friends. The book contains many pages of helpful cooking hints along with a special section on 4-H History and the history of the 4-H Uniform.
Cost of the cookbook is $12. The books are currently available for purchase at the Cherokee County Extension Office, the two Farm Bureau Financial Services locations in Cherokee, Cherokee State Bank, Shear Stylist, Schoon Construction, Aurelia Star, and Top Line Feed & Supply in Marcus. County 4-H clubs are also assisting with the sale of this cookbook. Get your copy before they are gone!
