South O'Brien's Brasser Academic All-State

CEDAR RAPIDS - The 24th All-Academic Team has been selected by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association.

A panel of coaches selected these players, all of whom are seniors with an average ACT score of 29, a GPA of 3.98, are in the top 7% of their class, and are of outstanding moral character. Eleven of the students were number one in their senior class.

Among those honored with a selection to the First Team was South O'Brien High School's Ryan Brasser.

First Team members will be honored at the All-Star Banquet, which will be held on Saturday, August 7, at 10:30am, at the Marriott Hotel Banquet Center in Cedar Rapids.
