DAKOTA DUNES, S.D. - Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative, along with approximately 90 other golfers from other electric cooperatives, raised $34,615 in charity funds on July 19, 2010, during the 11th annual Touchstone Energy Midwest Golf Invitational at the Dakota Dunes Country Club in North Sioux City, S.D.

The funds raised will go to the kids' health care charity, St. Luke's Children's Miracle Network. Siouxland children will benefit from improved health care services through these charity funds. All gifts to St. Luke's Children's Miracle Network stay local and are used to purchase new equipment and supplies as well as support programs and services designed specifically for children and their families.

The total raised for charities, including Children's Miracle Network, over the event's 11-year history is $308,490.
