Thomas Enright
At the beginning of a lifelong career in the retail meat department, where he was working at Swanson's Food Store in Cherokee, Tom met Linda Jean Florke of Cherokee. They were married August 14th, 1970. Tom enjoyed a 30 year career with Hy-Vee Food Store in Cherokee and Brookings,SD, while also being a loving and caring husband, father, and good friend to all who entered his life. He was a member of the Elks, spent countless hours caring for and being a son of sorts to Bill and Floyd, two older gentlemen who did not have children in their lives. He enjoyed fishing on the lake, the river, the pond, or any body of water, whether fish were present or not. He played golf, he traveled, and loved being a grandfather as much as anything else in his life.

Tom was a member of St Thomas More Catholic Church in Brookings, SD for over 20 years, and continued to practice his faith while living in Colorado and then Arizona.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Enright of Tucson, Arizona; his son, Larry Enright of Lead, SD; his daughters, Cathi (Jason) Bottelberghe of Garretson, SD and Krissy (Dennis) Dugan of Granger, Indiana; one brother, Gordon (Karen) Enright of Peyton, Colorado; two sisters, Marilyn (Ken) Henault of Security, Colorado and Janet (Greg) Rocco of Colorado Springs, Colorado; eight grandchildren, Thomas, Brett, & Cameron Enright of Lead, SD and Briana, Mikayla, Colby and Keara Bottelberghe of Garretson, SD; Dylan Dugan of Granger, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Dorothy and his brother Paul.

Services will be held Friday, August 13 at 1:30 pm at St Thomas More Catholic Church in Brookings, SD. An informal light lunch will be served at the church following the service.
