This week I am spending some quality time with our oldest son, Tom, our two grandsons, Colton and Dagan, and Tom's neighbor from Tennessee, Doug.
We have been busy making apple cider, riding bikes, camping, and singing downstairs in our family room downstairs. We have also visited the library and checked out Spring Lake Park. The mosquitoes were thick so it was a short visit.
I will see everyone at the library next Monday. I know
the library has some new books for all ages. 'Someone Like
You' by Sarah Dessen, 'Demons and Druids' by James Patterson, Book One of the 'Kane Chronicles' by Rick Riordon, and some graphic novels about super heroes, just to name a few.
It won't be long and school will be beginning. I don't know about most of our youth, but when it was time for school, I was ready to go back and be with my friends and learn all sorts of new things.
Don't forget to come to the library to check out our great fiction and non-fiction books.
Remember! Keep reading and bring in your reading logs to receive a prize for every five books that you read.
Just a reminder that Tuesday Story Time will not meet during August. Story Time will begin September 14th, from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m.
See you next Monday.
