Daugherty-Albright wedding

Jill Elizabeth Daugherty and Joseph Scott Albright, both of Omaha, were married outdoors at the Sonshine Chapel, Camp Carol Joy Holling, in Ashland, Nebraska on August 5, 2010, with Pastor Jeff Dart performing the 4 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at The Atrium at Nebraska Crossing in Gretna, Nebraska.

The bride and groom chose this special day as the groom's grandparents, Glen and Elvera Mohr, were married 60 years ago (1950) and the groom's parents, Scott and Deb Albright, 32 years ago (1978) on this date.

Parents of the couple are Greg and Janine Daugherty and Scott and Deb Albright, all of Omaha.

The bride wore a white strapless organza fit and flair gown with beaded lace, and carried red roses with Stephanotis rhinestones.

The maid of honor was the bride's cousin, Whitney Miles of Ralston, Nebraska. Bridesmaids were Courtney Aksamit of Superior, Nebraska, and Jennifer Jaros of Springfield, Nebraska. The bridal attendants all wore black strapless knee-length dresses with a white sash, and carried red roses with Stephanotis rhinestones

The best man was Mark Pokorny of Omaha. Groomsmen were the groom's brother, Josh Albright of Omaha, and a friend of the couple, Sam Barg of Winside, Nebraska.

The groom wore a traditional black and white tuxedo with a white vest and red rose boutonniere. The groomsmen were all attired in black and white tuxes with silver vests and ties with red rose boutonnieres.

The flower girls, who wore white dresses and carried white baskets of rose petals, were Jada, Elise and Ariana Wahe of Omaha.

The ring bearers, both cousins of the groom, were Aidan and Avery Mohr of Kennard, Nebraska. They also wore black and white tuxes.

Ushers were the bride's brothers, Bret Daugherty and Nathan Daugherty, both of Omaha, and the groom's brother, Jonathan Albright of Omaha.

The bride's personal attendant was Lianne Lau of Omaha.

Music was provided by a brass quintet comprised of members of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln marching band.

Guest book attendants were Danielle Moores and Anne Pokorny, both of Omaha. Program attendants were Raegen Brunsting of Cherokee, Iowa, and Shannon Daugherty of Ames, Iowa, both cousins of the bride, and Allyson Mohr of Kennard, cousin of the groom.

Hostesses were the groom's aunts, Cindy Albright of Antioch, Illinois, and Deanna Hansen of Omaha, and the bride's aunts, Lynn Glasser of Orange City and Dawn Miles of Ralston, Nebraska.

Special guests were the bride's grandparents, Bill and Dorothy Daugherty of Ralston and Erwin and Jennie Mogensen of Cleghorn, and the groom's grandfather, Glen Mohr of Omaha.

The bride and groom both graduated from Omaha's Central High School in 2007, and both are attending the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. The bride is majoring in early childhood and special education, and the groom is majoring in music education, and is a member of the Cornhusker Marching Band.

Following a honeymoon trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Thomas, the newlyweds make their home in Lincoln, Nebraska.
