Monday, September 20, 2010

Here are some of the new targets, bow hanger, and spot-a-pot he FDAC purchased with their grant.Pictured are left to right, Shane Claussen (club President), with Josh Weber (club Vice-President)and Jacob and Josie Kindwall, club member and 4-H Shooting Club Members. Photo contributed.
Full Draw Archery Club of Cherokee received a $3500 grant from the Cherokee County Legacy Foundation this past spring. The money received was used to upgrade Full Draw Archery Club's outdoor range with new 3-D targets, bow hangers and a spot-a-pot. With the upgraded range, Full Draw Archery Club was able to hold two very successful 3-D tournaments this summer, along with the Cherokee County 4-H Shooting Club holding an event of their own at the range. A special thank-you from Full Draw Archery Club to the Grant Committee.
