The Artisans Road Trip once again invites area residents to meet the artists and visit the studios of Northwest Iowa. This year's event is being held on Friday, Oct. 1, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 2, and Sunday, Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Artisans Road Trip (A.R.T.) is a free, self-guided, open studio tour planned every fall when the textures and color of Iowa's landscapes are ever changing. It is a three-day event held annually in October when artisans open their studios to the public.
Take the time and enjoy this opportunity to see what this group of Northwest Iowa artist to offer. The A.R.T.'s mission is to promote a venue for established artisans to demonstrate their skills, exhibit and sell their original art via self-guided tours through scenic Northwest Iowa, thereby encouraging education, diversity, tourism, economic growth and art appreciation.
A.R.T. is organized and run by "Artists working for Artists."
