Registration will be from noon-12:30 p.m. on the day of the shoot. Those registering will receive a free subscription to PF Ringneck magazine, compliments of Cherokee County Pheasants Forever.

Following registration, shooters will have a program on gun safety and shooting instruction and a clay bird warm-up. Ringneck shooting will begin immediately following the safety and instruction talks. All clay pigeons are provided. There is no cost for this event. A drawing will be held for three shotguns, and you must be present to win.

Following the shoot, there will be a hot dog cookout.

If you have any questions, call Greg Eaton of Youth Programs at 712-225-2414 or Dave Brown at Fireice Firearms, 225-2213.

Rain date for the shoot is October 10.
