School Board hears goals

The Cherokee Community School District Board of Education held a Management Team meeting on Monday and an overview of building goals and faculty action plans for the current school year were the featured topics.

Superintendent Dr. John Chalstrom, Washington High School Principal Larry Hunecke, Middle School Principal Larry Weede, Roosevelt Elementary School Principal Barb Radke, Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Beth Ebert-McDermott, and faculty members Connie Boekhout, Jolene Hultgren, Diane Rochleau, Tara Gunderson, Kathy Curtis, Jaylene DeVos, Megan Pigott, and Vicki Laughlin participated in the meeting to share information regarding building (WHS, CMS, RES) goals and action plans.

The staff members identified their department goals for the current school year, strategies being implemented to achieve these goals, and assessments that will be used to measure success.
