Sanford Museum Astronomy Night

The skies have been beautiful lately and the Sanford Museum would like to give the public a chance to view them up close.

Tonight at 7:30 p.m., north of the Cherokee Youth Summer Ball Association ball fields, the Museum staff will have telescopes set up so you can view Jupiter and the moon. Constellations will also be pointed out.

The telescopes will be available from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.The public is welcome.
