Crops for Scholars

The MMC Education foundation has instituted a program, "Crops for Scholars" where farmers can donate grain to provide funds towards scholarships for MMC graduates who wish to further their education at the post-secondary level. The grain may be donated in any amount fron one bushel to a wagon load at any of the area grain elevators.

The gift should be from unsold crop inventory, with no sale commitment made prior to the gift. The farmers will gift the grain to the MMC Foundation, and inform the Foundation of the gift. The gift needs to be farm commodities, not warehouse receipts, which could be considered a cash equivalent.

Either a properly executed warehouse receipt in the name of MMC Foundation or a signed "Authorization of Disbursement of Grain Funds" will be required. The original sales invoice should list 'MMC Foundation' as the seller.
