DAR hosts presentation Nov. 6

Dr. Rudy Daniels
Pilot Rock Chapter of NSDAR would like to invite the public to their

program on Saturday, Nov. 6. Dr. Rudolph Daniels will give a

presentation on "Things that make America Unique and Great" at the

Cherokee Depot at 2 p.m.

Dr. Daniels talk will feature both familiar and unfamiliar events in

United States history that make our nation different from any other in

history. From its very beginning through the Twenty-First Century, the

United Sates has achieved things unheard of in other cultures and

societies. He will explain these accomplishments in light of the

"American Spirit" which grew out of this country's unique experience of

the various frontiers and of our great Constitution. Indeed, the

United States is the most exceptional country and society the world has

ever seen.

Dr. Daniels received his Ph. D. Degree from Penn State University in

1971. He has taught in Europe and in various colleges in northwest

Iowa. He retired as Assistant Dean at Western Iowa Tech Community

College and currently works as Law Enforcement Planner for the Sioux

City Police Department. He has written four books and has two

currently in publication. After Dr. Daniels' program his books will

be for sale and light refreshments will be served.

Pilot Rock Chapter members will meet before the program at 1 p.m. for

a business meeting. Officers are reminded to bring two dozen cookies

to share. Their hostesses for the meeting will be Opal Williams and

Mary Beth Seggermann.
