Ridge View nips Manson NW Webster

HOLSTEIN - The Ridge View Raptors clipped a solid Manson NW Webster team 22-21 in exciting Class 1A District football action here Friday.

Tyler Kenny rushed 14 times for 89 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Raptors to the win, while Greg Davis caught seven passes for 83 yards and one TD to help seal the deal.

Ridge View quarterback Seth Johnson completed 21-47 passes for 251 yards, one TD, and two interceptions in the game. Johnson also rushed nine times for 68 yards.

The Raptors rushed 23 times for 157 yards in the game, while limiting the Cougars to 43 rushes for 110 yards and one TD. Manson NW Webster QB Tucker Herzberg completed 12-22 passes for 147 yards and one TD.

Jamie Huenecke led the Ridge View defense with 16 tackles, followed by Colby Stephens and Kenny 11 each, Michael Davidson and Greg Davis 10 apiece, Kris Alesch seven, and Austin Graff and Joe Tokheim six each. Tokheim also had a pass interception.

Brennan Thompson led the Cougar defense with 12 tackles, while Trevor Schreier tallied 11, and Chris Stuhrenberg and Cole Rowen had six each.

Ridge View (3-5) ends regular season play at Westwood Friday night.
