The Tri-Center girls totaled 33 points, to runner-up Eagle Grove's 103, and third-place Le Mars Gehlen's 120. The St. Albert boys tallied 66 points, to runner-up West Lyon's 89, and third-place Manson NW Webster 141.
The top three teams and top 10 individuals earn a berth in Saturday's State Meet in Fort Dodge.
Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn was fourth in the girls team race with 150 points, followed by North Iowa 202, Algona Garrigan 211, Alta 217, Hinton 225, Ridge View 226, Boyer Valley 247, Prairie Valley 258, Council Bluffs St. Albert 267, Pocahontas Area/Pomeroy-Palmer 280, South O'Brien 299, Emmetsburg 336, Manson NW Webster 387.
Trinity Christian was fourth in the boys competition with 168 points, followed by Gehlen 184, Alta 207, Ridge View 223, Emmetsburg 236, Eagle Grove 254, Tri-Center 276, South O'Brien 293, Prairie Valley 317, Boyer Valley 328, West Monona 334, PA-PP 334, Westwood 335, Hinton 390, Garrigan 433, Ar-We-Va 440, and West Sioux 592.
Jessie Mathes led the host Ridge View girls, placing 13th in 16:52, followed by Annie McAreavy 52nd in 18:37, Rachel Hunt 58th in 18:43, Michaela Else 62nd in 18:50, Meg Kohmehl 75th in 19:24, Kate Mathes 76th in 19:29, and Taylor Henry 101st in 20:49.
Kaitlyn Aberson led South O'Brien's girls, placing 17th in 17:03, followed by Halee Rahbusch 19:18, Kellie Einck 85th in 19:52, Heather Penning 88th in 19:55, Emily Heeren 92nd in 20:12, Arielle Wohlert 100th in 20:47, and Rebecca Thiel 109th in 21:23.
The Raptors competed without one of their top two runners, as Ashley Drey was sidelined with an injury.
Aurelia had two girls compete and not enough to figure in the team standings. Kate Carlson was 117th in 22:24, and Mikayla Tuttle 122nd in 23:52.
In the boys race for Ridge Viewm Jason Kenny placed 13th in 17:34, followed by Christian Egger 18th in 17:51, Sergio Carbajal 68th in 19:08, Trevor Irwin 69th in 19:09, Josh Mohr 75th in 19:21, Jordan Bremer 79th in 19:30, and Riley Cosgrove 91st in 19:58.
South O'Brien was led by Daniel Patterson, who qualified for State with a 9th-place finish in a time of 17:15. He was followed by Nate Struve 31st in 18:09, Randall Nieman 39th in 18:23, Daniel Haden 112th in 20:56, and Bobby McCauley 125th in 22:00.
