Meyer - Pressley Wedding

Amanda Lynn Meyer and Jeremy Dean Pressley, both of Kingsley, were married at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Alta on September 11, 2010, with Pastors Duane D. Olson and Kenneth Meissner performing the 4 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at The Alta Community Center.

Parents of the couple are Jim and Amy Meyer of Alta and James and Deana Pressley of Storm Lake.

The bride wore a white strapless organza A-line gown with wine colored satin trim, and carried a bouquet of wine colored daisies with stephanotis.

The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Shelby Meyer of Alta. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Stevenson of Kaufman, Texas, sister of the groom, Deidre Hinkeldey of Sioux City, Holly Diischer of Aurelia, Danielle King of Auburn, Nicole Navin of Winterset, all friends of the bride, and Ryanne Davis of Chandler, Arizona, cousin of the bride. The bridal attendants all wore wine short chiffon halter dresses with cowboy boots, and carried a bouquet of daisies wrapped with rope.

The best man was Corey Diischer of Aurelia, and groomsmen were the groom's brother in-law, Jeremy Stevenson of Kaufman, Texas, Kevin Davis of Storm Lake, Ryan Diischer of Aurelia, Dave Lehl of Storm Lake, Austin Navin of Winterset all friends of the groom and cousin of the bride, Rhett Davis of Chandler, Arizona.

The groom and the groomsmen were all attired in blue jeans, wine checkered Cinch shirts, and chestnut - colored Western corduroy sport coats, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats with white daisy boutonnieres.

The flower girl was Emily Stevenson of Kaufman, Texas, niece of the groom. She wore an off-the-shoulder dress with a wine colored bodice and white skirt adorned with wine colored flowers, and carried a white basket of rose petals.

The ring bearer was Dylan Stevenson of Kaufman, Texas, nephew of the groom.

Ushers were friends of the groom - Adam Kelly of Correctionville, Jarrod Garrison of Alta, Trevor Knots of Storm Lake, and Kyle Diischer or Aurelia.

The bride's personal attendants were Jahde Hammer of Alta and Tammy Nielsen of Storm Lake.

Music was provided by Jeanette Hinkeldey of Alta.

Guest book and gift attendants were Mallory Hinkeldey of Alta and cousin of the bride Jazlyn Cornelious of Ames.

Host and Hostesses were the bride's aunts and uncles, Terry and Paula Meyer of Alta, and Terry and Donna Sargent of Quimby.

Special guests were the bride's grandparents, Ros and Joel Larson of Alta, Great Grandma Virginia Kischer of Quimby and the groom's grandparents, Don and Janice Willardson of Overton, Texas.

The bride is currently employed in admitting at Cherokee Regional Hospital, and the groom is employed at AC & R Specialist in Sioux City.

The newlyweds now make their home in Kingsley.
