Ready for some more? Come upstairs to the youth department at the Cherokee Public Library and discover a list of four more tongue twisters.
While you're at the library pick up our December newsletter, which lists all our regular and special programs for this month. We have several special visitors who will be coming to the library to help spread some holiday cheer.
Shelf Elf will arrive on Tuesday Nov. 30 around 10:30 a.m. Shelf Elf will report back to Santa each week as to whether the boys and girls have been naughty or nice. The first time he comes to the library he will need to be named. So boys and girls I need your help. Think of some names we can give the Shelf Elf so he can begin his mission. There will be strips of paper and a box upstairs in the youth department to submit your ideas for his name. We will draw the name at the After School Bunch program Tuesday, Dec. 7.
The library will have a Christmas tree at the festival of trees at the Sanford Museum. The theme of our tree will be "One World, Many Stories." This is also the theme for our Summer Reading Program.
Thursday, Dec. 9 Santa will be visiting the library from 6:30 -- 7:30 p.m. He will be in the atrium by the Christmas tree. Each child will receive a treat. Parents don't forget your cameras.

A snack will be provided, Mr. Tap & Go will perform, and you'll play holiday bingo.
