LAKE VIEW - East Sac County pocketed a pair of basketball wins over Ridge View here Tuesday night, the ESC girls claiming the opener 65-34, and the host Raiders winning the boys nightcap 61-34.
Nicole Snyder led the Raptor girls in scoring with 10 points, while Egypt Clayton scored nine, and Roxanne Grundmeier seven.
Ridge View sank 15-43 field goals for 35 percent, and was 9-19 from the free throw line.
Clayton led the Raptors on the boards with nine rebounds, and Grundmeier and Brook Wiese grabbed three each. Grundmeier, who battled foul trouble the whole game, had three steals to lead Ridge View in that category and Snyder had two blocks.
In the boys game, the Raiders jumped out to a 19-10 lead in the first quarter and ballooned that to 34-14 by halftime.
Isaiah Miller led the Raptors with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Austin Graff and Travis Hoeppner each scored six points.
Jacob Ricke led ESC with 14 points, followed by Phil Brotherton 12, and Collin Schrader nine.
"We were pretty flat tonight," said Ridge View boys coach Shannon Tesch. "It felt like we were a step slow defensively. East Sac County shot the ball very well. Turnovers also were a problem for us."
The Ridge View teams - both 0-2 - play at Lawton-Bronson Friday night.
