PIERSON, IA-- Bill Anderson, who was elected in November to represent Senate District 27, received his committee assignments for the upcoming legislative session. Anderson will serve on the Ways and Means, Commerce, and Labor and Business standing committees. He will also serve on the Transportation, Infrastructure and Capitals budget subcommittee.
"I am excited to have been assigned a great slate of committees," said Anderson. "These assignments will enable me to serve my district even more effectively."
Anderson, a Republican, is the Senator-elect in Iowa Senate in District 27. The district covers the Northern Part of Woodbury County, the Eastern part of Plymouth County, and all of Cherokee County.
