The Raptors sank 19-49 field goals for 39 percent, and converted 16-22 free throws.

"We played a great game against Prairie Valley here on Tuesday," noted Ridge View coach Ken Slater.

"The girls were finally rewarded for their efforts - they really worked hard tonight from start to finish. They were definitely due. Prairie Valley is a very good team with some great shooters. This was a very good win for our squad.

"Egypt Clayton had a career night with her 33 points. She also recorded a double double with 11 rebounds. We got off to a great start and had the lead the entire game. We were able to get a 10 point lead in the fourth quarter and we held on for the win.

"We improved in many aspects of the game, most importantly rebounding and turnovers. We turned steals into points and we made our free throws."

The Ridge View teams host Maple Valley/Anthon-Oto tonight before entering the holiday break. They host River Valley in Holstein Jan. 4 after the holidays.
