HOLSTEIN - Isaiah Miller fired in 25 points and pocketed 14 rebounds to lead the Ridge View boys to a hard-fought 56-46 boys basketball victory over Prairie Valley here Tuesday night.

In chalking up another impressive double-double performance, the 6-6 Miller also recorded four steals and two blocked shots to pace the Raptors. Kris Alesch added 10 points, Blake Woodke seven, and Seth Johnson seven for the winners.

Cole Blak led Prairie Valley with 15 points, and Curtis Anderson tallied 11.

"It was not a very pretty game," said Ridge View coach Shannon Tesch. "But we battled through and came out on top. Prairie Valley works extremely hard. We didn't match that intensity in the first half. I thought we outworked them in the second half, which was the key to victory."

The Raptors are now 3-3 this season and host Maple Valley/Anthon-Oto tonight in Holstein. The Ridge View teams host River Valley in Holstein Jan. 4 after the holiday break.
