On Sunday afternoon Jan. 9, the Gospel Music of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Choir of Sioux City will be heard at Cherokee's St. Paul's United Methodist Church from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
After this revelation from God for this choir to be consecrated, Pastor Brown then re-named the Mass Choir, Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist "Consecrated" Mass Choir, requiring every member to be consecrated. This choir has had the privilege of ministering to thousands crossing every religious, political and cultural barrier over the years including: our current President of the United States, dignitaries at the Iowa Governor's Mansion, as well as performing our 1st live recording at the beautiful Orpheum Theatre in Sioux City, Iowa. The ministry has reached various churches and businesses while traveling many miles across the country as far as the State of California.
Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Consecrated Mass Choir has grown to as many as 80 voices strong throughout the years singing songs of inspiration, thanksgiving and praise. This choir has been blessed with the most anointed musical directors, musicians, soloist and choir members. Because of this music ministry, many lives have changed and souls saved reaching the hearts of many since 1980.
This choir continues to grow, inspire and minister every Sunday morning in our beautifully built new edifice in Sioux City, Iowa along with our pastor preaching the un-cut word of the gospel to hundreds under the anointing.
