Dunn to perform at Morningside

SIOUX CITY - Demirae Dunn, daughter of Douglas and Deborah Dunn of Cherokee, and a Cherokee Washington High School graduate, is a member of the cast for the upcoming Morningside College theater department production of the Cole Porter musical, "Anything Goes." Dunn, who is a freshman at Morningside majoring in advertising, will play the role of Angel Charity.

Cole Porter wrote the music and lyrics for "anything Goes," which is based on a book that was collaboratively written by Gut Bolton and P.G. Wodehouse. The play made its Broadway debut at the Alvin Theatre (now known as the Neil Simon Theatre) in 1934.

Show times for "Anything Goes" at the Klinger-Neal Theatre, 3700 Peters Avenue in Sioux City, will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday - Saturday February 17-19, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday February 20.
