STORM LAKE - The Alta-Aurelia boys ran into #2-rated Storm Lake St. Mary's in a Northwest Conference hoops match-up here on Friday, and the Warriors of Coach Dean Lietz fell to the Panthers by a score of 72-46.

The Panthers stole 18 Warrior passes, including six by Luke Lenhart and five by Richardson, and shot 61.5% from the field, including 5 of 8 three-pointers (62%).
Warrior coach Dean Lietz commented "St. Mary's played very well and things got away from us in the second quarter. We needed to do a better job on the glass to stay in the game , and our shot selection was not good at times. We need to refocus and get back on track."
The Warriors (6-6) take on Sioux Central at Alta on Thursday, in a make-up game, and play at home again on Friday against Manson-Northwest Webster.
