LAWTON - The Ridge View Raptors boys team lost to a very good Lawton-Bronson squad, 57-49, in a first-round Western Valley Conference Tournament game here on Tuesday.
Isaiah Miller continued his streak of double-double games for the Raptors, who fell to 5-10 on the season, as he scored 20 points and took down 11 rebounds. Seth Johnson scored 15 for Ridge View and he also had seven rebounds and dished out three assists. Kyle Alesch scored eight points, grabbed seven rebounds, and had four assists.
Austin Lefler and Jesse Baldwin were an effective dynamic duo for the 15-1 Eagles, as Lefler scored 26 points and Baldwin added 19.
Raptors coach Shannon Tesch felt that Lawton-Bronson is a very good team that works very hard defensively. Tesch said that the Raptors made a nice comeback in the 4th quarter, but "didn't get that big basket or big defensive stop down the stretch."
