Garrett Hill, a senior from Cherokee. Hill received a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the semester.
Michelle McGarry, a sophomore from Laurens. McGarry received a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the semester.

Students named to the Dean's List must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 for the semester, based on a 4.0 grade point system, and must have taken at least 12 hours of coursework.

Whitney Halder of Cherokee, was named to the Central College dean's list for the 2010 fall semester.
Whitney Halder is the daughter of Kevin and Kathi Halder and is a junior majoring in sociology. She is a graduate of Washington High School.
The honor is awarded to full-time students who achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on a 4.0 scale while taking 12 or more graded credit hours for the semester.
Iowa Lakes Community College, has released the fall honors list of full-time students who have demonstrated academic excellence by earning a grade point average of 3.25 (based on a 4.00) or higher.
Fall semester students who have achieved a 3.25 grade point average or better are recognized by inclusion on the dean's list. Those with a 4.00 (A) average are on the President's list.

Des Moines Area Community College President Rob Denson recently released the names of students eligible for the Fall Semester President's List. To be eligible, a student must have earned a 4.0 grade point average.
