James Wright led Woodbury Central with 22 points, and he received ample help from Grady Gallagher, who scored 14 points, and Brady Crichton, who notched a dozen.
Alta-Aurelia coach Dean Lietz said, "Woodbury Central is a tough team with an inside and outside game offensively. We competed hard and came back, but couldn't get the lead, and from there it was an uphill struggle. I really believe our team is tested and will make a good showing in the postseason. We just need to put a full 32 minutes together, because we still haven't played our best game yet."
Alta-Aurelia (8-9) will conclude its regular season at Alta on Friday aginst non-conference foe River Valley.
