Sen. Chuck Grassley
WASHINGTON -- Senator Chuck Grassley will be in Buena Vista, Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Humboldt, Ida, Lyon, O'Brien, Osceola, Palo Alto, Plymouth, Pocahontas, Sac, Sioux, Webster, and Woodbury counties March 21 through 24.

He will hold town meetings, tour and meet with employees at an Iowa business, speak with service club members, discuss issues with high school students, and tour a rural health care provider network site.

Grassley has held a constituent meeting in every one of Iowa's 99 counties every year that he has represented Iowans in the United States Senate.

He was first elected in 1980.

"Face-to-face meetings are an important way for me to hear directly from Iowans. I want to know people's concerns, hear their ideas and answer their questions. Representative democracy depends on this kind of open communication.

I'm one half of the equation, and my constituents are the other half. I work for them, and I need their input and feedback," Grassley said.

Details of Grassley's schedule are below. Grassley will be available for media interviews for approximately 15 minutes following each event, except the Hawarden Hospital Foundation banquet.

Grassley is a guest at the events that are not town meetings. Please contact the organizations for additional information, in those cases.
