CORRECTIONVILLE - On Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26 the River Valley Speech and Drama Department will be presenting an original play written and directed by River Valley Play Director Margaret Witt.

The play "Sealed In Spit" is a comedy of a rich businessman named Billy who offers $3 million to a struggling matchmaking company if its owners, three lovely sisters, can find his friend a perfect match within a week's time.

The sisters are extremely excited about the offer until they meet Billy's friend, Bubba, a red-neck, illiterate hick who knows absolutely nothing about the intricacies of dating a woman.

This is a new comedy that Witt wrote for her students this year. The students helped her develop the artwork/poster advertisement.

This is Witt's second original play for River Valley. Many may remember that Witt also wrote and directed last year's spring play at River Valley called "Wild Pink" which was published in November, 2010.

Show times are at 7 p.m. and the play will be held at the River Valley High School Auditorium. Admission cost is $6 for adults and $4 for students and there will be a free Ice Cream Cake Social at the intermission with paid admission.

The cast will include 50 members, including 21 River Valley second grade students.
