The 2011 Washington High School Prom "Forever For Tonight" will be held on Saturday, April 9, with the Grand March beginning at 8 p.m.
The doors will open for the public at 7 p.m.
The cost for admission is $2 per person for balcony seating. As has been done in previous years, parents with WHS students attending prom will need to pre-purchase their lower level bleacher seats. They will be limited to two tickets per WHS student attending the prom.
These tickets are sold only in advance and not sold the evening of the prom. Because of the limited seats available in the lower bleachers, parents of non-WHS students and all other spectators are to be seated in the balcony and pay the $2 admission the evening of the prom.
Balcony seating is the only seating that will be for sale the evening of prom. Exceptions will be made for handicapped individuals and elderly grandparents who are unable to climb the steps to the upper level. Parents or WHS students may stop in the WHS office to pay and pick up the reserve tickets prior to April 8.
The school will allow parents only on the gym floor for 30 minutes following the Grand March for picture taking. WHS asks, that while on the floor, that parents would please be mindful of the time, effort and expense that are put into the decorations.
